Since 2011, the Association for Low Carbon Transition (ABC) has been actively involved in the fight against climate change by pooling expertise, raising awareness among stakeholders and providing organizations and citizens with the right solutions and best practices on a national and international scale to help them succeeding in their low-carbon transition.

Why this international website ?
Low-carbon transition transcends borders: it is a global challenge that concerns us all. In response, ABC has made international carbon accounting a core mission, working to unite stakeholders from around the world.
With financial support from ADEME, ABC is launching stg-httpslowcarbontransitionorg-staging.kinsta.cloud, an international platform designed to achieve two key objectives:
Increase global awareness of carbon accounting through a step-by-step approach enriched with technical and targeted resources.
Foster collaboration and knowledge sharing by encouraging international players to publish methods, databases and other documents on carbon accounting adapted to their specific context.
The platform’s initial resources, resulting from ABC projects and partnerships, are freely available and open to user contributions and updates.

Our Projects
Educational projects ECCI, Clicks On
The last ten years have seen a growing mobilization in support of climate issues, particularly among young people. Climate marches and demonstrations in schools illustrate the young generation’s commitment to what is considered to be one of the greatest challenges humanity has ever faced.
That’s why ABC is committed to raising public awareness, especially among young people.
European projects 
ABC aims to bring together and make available a set of databases on an international scale, presenting emission factors for different countries.
The European LIFE Clim’Foot project, coordinated by ADEME between 2014 and 2018, is at the origin of this approach, having enabled partner countries to develop initial databases and associated emissions factors.Â
Ongoing projects
To deepen low carbon transition topics on an international level, ABC has been leading since 2023 a LinkedIn group called International Low Carbon Transition, dealing with carbon accounting issues in the world.
